   White Lotus Productions was started by New York musician William White.  In addition to being an excellent jazz pianist, he is a composer of classical music, an r&b and soul keyboardist, a singer-songwriter, and producer/engineer.  His mission is not only to make his clients happy, but hopefully inject some character and craftsmanship into the general culture.

   He was first educated by classical teachers and jazz piano legend Jim Rowsey, as well as Rebecca Mauleon and Marc Levine.  He studied Ethnomusicology and jazz studies at UCLA with Kenny Burrell.  He was a member of the hip hop/ funk band BOKU, which was courted by Arista records in 2004.  In 2008 he toured Morocco with R&B artist Wallace Gary and performed Ethnomusicological research there. He has also played as an accompanist for the Martha Graham School of Dance, and is the leader of his own quintet, the Billy White group, in New York.
